Art: Bootsy Collins Eye-Funk

Funk legend and innovator Bootsy Collins is the latest artist to release for a very unique art piece. This one is entitled Eye-Funk, which, according to Dunn Deal PR, "is the result of a lengthy process involving photography, greenscreen, found images and archived elements, undertaken with the aim of isolating and visually replicating what's going on in his imagination. Every piece is a one-of-a-kind collectible, each bearing a unique funk mantra created and applied to the canvas by Bootsy himself."

This piece is very limited with there being only 250 40x30 canvases and only 50 massive 80x60 canvases.  Each piece is numbered and signed, with Bootsy's handprints added in acrylic paint. Click here to reserve your copy.

Also be sure to check out Bootsy's Funk University, an online bass guitar academy founded by Collins, and has featured the likes of Les Claypool, Meshell Ndegeocello, Victor Wooten, George Clinton, T.M. Stevens, John B. Williams, Divinity Roxx, Thee Ram Jam, Frankie "Kash" Waddy, Bakithi Kumalo, P-Nut and Blackbyrd McKnight as guest professors.
