Allen Iverson's Career Likely Done

Former NBA all-star Allen Iverson has just been released by the Philadelphia 76ers. After 13 years in the league, this could be the end of his career. After having already been released earlier this year by the Memphis Grizzlies, now things have seemed to fizzle out in Philadelphia, where Iverson spent the majority of his career and became a star. He'd been on a leave of absence to take care of his ill daughter, but over the past weekend Iverson took part in a club event in Charlotte, which did not meet the 76ers approval.

So...with this issue and along with Iverson's unwillingness to take resort to a role off the bench, he could be done as an NBA player. It's pretty sad because AI was one of the illest ballers around, but his time has come and past.

He could still be of service to a contending team if he ever got over the fact that he's no longer a star, but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen.

This season Iverson averaged 13.8 points per game, 4 assists, and 2.8 rebounds. In his career, he was the 1996-97 Rookie of The Year, an 11 time all-star, and 2001 NBA MVP, amongst many other accolades. Iverson averaged 27 points per game and 6 assists for his career. Check the video below of some dope AI highlights. Also he's rapping over the track. I'm not too big a fan of his music career though. Haha. But as a baller, Allen Iverson is a sure hall of famer.
