Black History Moment: Chuck Berry

Before there was Elvis, there was Chuck Berry. He is known as "The Father of Rock and Roll."  Berry was a master of the guitar and some of his biggest hits were "Johnny B. Goode," "Maybellene" and "Memphis." He was also known as one of the greatest performers ever. John Lennon once said: "If you tried to give rock and roll another name, you might call it 'Chuck Berry'." Berry was among the first musicians to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on its opening in 1986. He is now 83 years old and still performing on occasion.
