First off, many NBA fans are idiots, or else they're just not fans that actually follow the game. This reasoning is due to Allen Iverson being voted in as a starter on the East all-star squad, as well as Tracy McGrady almost being voted to start for the West.
Iverson has been far from an all-star this year, having played a few games as a Memphis Grizzly and the last month or so back with his original team, the Philadelphia 76ers. McGrady, a guard for the Houston Rockets, has been injured all year, however, he's still got loads of fans, especially in China, that voted for him.
With that being said, the rest of the picks are good to go. The reserves will be chosen by NBA coaches and announced this Thursday.
