The video below just dropped as well. It's pretty dope because this video is compiled of over 3,000 still photos and zero video footage. It took three weeks to reach completion. The video was directed by Noah Banks.

Ongoing Trouble In Iran

So I've yet to cover all of the issues going on in Iran right now, but I feel that it is definitely important to do so. There has been madd protesting going on due to what is believed to be shady dealings with the government surrounding the election that just took place two weeks ago. The majority of Iranians, like Americans, were ready for change with a new president with different views and values in Mir Hossein Moussavi. However, radical President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. As soon as the news broke, Moussavi called it a fraud and has demanded a do-over. Members of Iran's National Security Council have told Moussavi that his repeated demands for the annulment are "illogical and unethical,"
Many journalists, both Iranians and foreigners, have been detained by the government. Kalameh Sabz, a newspaper established by Moussavi, employs 25 people, and 20 of them were arrested and detained at an undisclosed location due to their coverage of the turmoil. Yesterday Amnesty International made a plea for the release of these journalists that have been in captivity since June 12.
So many innocent people have been beaten on the streets of Tehran, however, one thing that many people are unaware of are the nightime raids and beatings by Iran's paramilitary that have taken place. Human Rights Watch reported that they have been destroying property in private homes and beating civilians in an attempt to stop nightly rooftop chants of "Allahu Akbar" (God is great). One huge loss to the cause was the death of Neda Agha-Soltan, which was caught on cell phone video. She was a huge voice for the protesters. Iran's leaders blamed the her death on the demonstratorsturned up the heat Friday as a high-ranking cleric warned protesters that they would be punished "firmly" and shown no mercy.
Check out these photos of the chaos that has ensued:

Michael Jackson Thriller Tribute
With Mike's passing, the homey Turtle put it best. He said "Now I know how it felt in the 70's when Elvis died." No doubt about that yo. I mean, it was one thing when we lost Biggie and Pac, but Michael Jackson was the ultimate superstar, no matter what you thought of him as a person. I wanted to embed my favorite Mike videos, but they're making it hard for me to do it, so I decided to list the dopest and funniest Thriller renditions. I've seen the Indian version a million times. I still can't stop rolling! Peace.

Shaq traded to Cavs!

So now Shaq is on his 5th team. Who would have thought the self-proclaimed Most Dominant Ever would play for 5 different teams! He was traded for Ben Wallace and Sasha Pavlovic, along with next year's 2nd round pick and $500,000. Wow, Phoenix fans must be furious. Neither of Wallace or Pavlovic will make an impact. In fact, Wallace is expected to be bought out, which will lead to retirement. This was all about the Suns just freeing up money for future free agents.
Cleveland Cavs fans, get ready for Shaq to arrive with his usual shenanigans. It will start off as a ass kissing fest towards Lebron James, but won't take long before some drama ensues. His acquisition definitely could help, however, the Cavs still don't go too deep, and their guards are still too small. They must make some other kind of move. I guess we'll see yo. Oh yea, nice job by Horace Grant on the picture above.

B-Real latest single off his solo album, Smoke and Mirrors, is a banger. Him and Damian get nice over the latest ode to marijuana. PETA Trips Over Obama Swatting A Fly!

Now I knew that PETA many times goes over the top with their beliefs, but this is just ridiculous! Barack Obama killed a fly with his bare hands during an interview, which is featured below, and now they're making a huge fuss about it. Come on PETA, I believe in the ethical treatment of animals, but flys, that's just silly. This is attention whoring at its finest!
PETA is sending Obama a custom-built Katcha Bug Humane Bug Catcher, a device that allows users to trap a fly and then release it outside. "He isn't the Buddha," PETA president Ingrid Newkirk said in a statement. "He's a human being, and human beings have a long way to go before they think before they act."

Former Mountain Bike Champ Busted With Madd Trees

Nearly 400 pounds of marijuana and more than $1 million in cash were seized by state police and federal agents after they arrested a former mountain biking national champion from Virginia and an area man at his Wilton home Tuesday.
The arrests came this week after an investigation that started in Illinois and led police on Tuesday to Albany International Airport, then an Albany hotel and finally to a home in Wilton.
Melissa “The Missile” Giove, 37, from Chesapeake, Va., and Eric Canori, 30, of Preserve Way in Wilton, were charged by federal agents with conspiracy with an intent to possess and distribute more than 220 pounds of marijuana.
Giove was a world champion downhill mountain biker when she was 21 and the first two-time World Cup season champion in 1997 and 1998. She was a three-time National Off-Road Biking Association downhill national champion in 1999, 2000 and 2001, according to “Bike For Life,” a book by Roy Wallack and Bill Katousky that contained interviews with a dozen of the top biking champions of the past and present, including Giove.
Giove, who appeared on national late-night talk shows during her career, retired from downhill mountain bike racing in 2003, according to the book.

The Masses Come Out For the Laker Parade!

So I said that I'd be at the parade, however, I did not make it afterall. I ended up going out the night before after work and getting in late. I woke up at 7am, turned on the tv and saw how crazy packed the freeways were and the thousands of thousands of heads already out on the streets and at the Coliseum, so I said forget it, I'll watch on TV. I knew I could get there in time to see the parade on the streets, but I wanted to be one of the 95,000 + peeps that were in the Coliseum for the full celebration at the end of the parade. Several of my friends made it out, and I received many calls. Most of them either waited the night before or else got up as early as 3 or 4 am. I was upset at myself for not making it out. I watched it all on tv, flipping through all the local channels. The actual Lakers floor from Staples Center was placed on the Coliseum field. And though there was nobody like Shaq to bust a rap or another white boy like Mark Madsen to do a funny dance, it was quite a sight to be held, and a historical event to take part in. After Kobe, Trevor Ariza got the second biggest applause. Best believe if we make it back next year, ain't nothing stopping me from missing that parade!

Lakers Win 15th Franchise Title! Fans Act A Fool!

Yesterday was a great day for the Lakers and Laker fans! Kobe Bryant finally won without Shaq, claiming his 4th overall. It was also Derrick Fisher's 4th title with the Lakers. Phil Jackson won his 10th, becoming the coach with the most wins ever! The Lakers beat Orlando in Game 5 99-86 to claim the Larry O'Brien trophy. Kobe dropped 30 points, 5 assists, 4 blocks, and 2 steals and went on to win the NBA Finals MVP. Pau was hard with 14 points, 15 boards, and 4 blocks. Lamar had 17 and 10. The parade is popping off on Wednesday. I'll be there for sure!

On another note, it's madd embarassing to see people celebrating the championship inappropriately. The Holy Grail, a madd dope shoe store in LA was ravaged and looted. There's no place for that yo. Also cars were tipped, buses destroyed, and several innocent people and police officers hurt. At least 25 people were arrested. These people are just idiots yo. Ghetto Laker Fans in East LA
So after the big overtime win yesterday, some ghetto ass Laker fans in East LA decided to take to the streets in celebration as if the championship has already been won. Granted, it's pretty much in the bag that we will win, but come on, this is just ridiculous. That's the only thing I hate about winning championships. All the ignorant fools that don't know how to act make asses of themselves and proceed to be destructive. Apparently, there was about 2,000 headz that were out there last night. As shown in the video, several decided to run to cars stopped at an intersection and rock them. Damn idiots!

Fisher Comes Up Big! Lakers Lead Magic 3-1!

Derrick Fisher was having another horrible shooting game, going 0-5 on three pointers, until the last 4.6 seconds of the game. The Lakers were down three, and Fisher drilled a cold one to send it to OT. From there he hit another big one to put them up 3! The Magic were stunned, and went on to lose to LA 99-91. Fish finished with 12 points.
Dwight Howard was huge with 16 points, 21 boards, and 9 blocks. He could have put the game away. Orlando led by 3 with 11 seconds left, and he went to the free throw line for two. He'd been shooting them halfway decent throughout the playoffs, but proceeded to brick both of them! That left the door open, and D Fish took advantage. Kobe had a dope game with 32 points, 8 dimes, and 7 boards. Pau and Ariza had 16. Ariza was key in the 3rd quarter, putting up 13, bringing the Lakers back from a 12 point halftime deficit.
This has definitely gotta be super satisfying for Fisher, who has had an up and down postseason, but his veteran championship experience came through! The Lakers need one more win to win the championship! I will definitely be at the parade next week! Let's get it poppin!
