Former NFL offensive lineman and world renown painter, Ernie Barnes, most famous for his painting, Sugar Shack, died today at the age of 70. The Sugar Shack painting was featured on the TV series Good Times as well as the cover of Marvin Gaye's I Want You album. I frequently visited his website and have used his painting for backgrounds several times. Mr. Barnes will truly be missed!
